Yaon - Faun (forest spirit)
You can find the sylvains we have channeled in many myths, under other names such as satyrs or fauns. Unlike these creatures interpreted by our ancestors as beasts with primal and violent instincts, we perceive them as much gentler and more nuanced. Certainly, the animal side is very present in them, but as a noble and rooted value, not as vulgar bestiality. The sylvains are close to our vision of druids; very connected to nature and instinctive. Guides connected to fertility and sexuality, these concepts express themselves in them as a form of manifestation, quite different from the invasion suggested by myths. If legends have understood the importance of the relationship between masculine and feminine in the sylvains, Yaon, their delegate, has presented it more accurately as a reunion of genders, a healing of sexual conflicts and wounds of intrusion. Attentive, respectful, supportive, the sylvain represents a masculine energy of action and dynamism in service of the more encompassing and infusing feminine energy. In other words, he is the embodiment of yang carrying yin, without a power struggle, without questions of value or hierarchy. He offers his support without imposing it and cultivates the talent of those around him.
To understand what the sylvains bring to the embodiment of the masculine-feminine balance, we have paralleled their specialties with the functions of your organs. These can thus be strengthened to better support you. This is how they support the pelvic cavity and gonads as the sacred seat of our identity. They also harmonize our bronchi and tonsils in order to choose appropriately how to present ourselves to others or in a particular situation, without tension.
Yaon carries an open flower, a symbol of the flourishing he brings forth in others. While the terms masculine and feminine energy are often associated respectively with men and women on earth, in reality, they are often uncorrelated and much more subtle. Yet, the binarity in which we live in this concrete world often gives them physical and traditional consistency. When, in normative relationships, a man offers a bouquet of flowers to a woman, we find a wish for flourishing. These energies are complementary. The sylvains are pleasant and light, very empathetic and great company. They are companions well beyond the traditional view of the "masculine", embodying a new archetype of Him.
Close your eyes. Call Yaon, say his name three times aloud or in your thoughts. Talk to him about your doubts, about what weighs you down today. Do not hesitate to let the sylvains guide you in your requests. This card did not come to you by chance. Be attentive to the signs, whether during this reading, throughout the day, tonight or in the days to come. It is up to you to seize them and follow their guidance!
